The Ozark Dale County Library, Inc. strives to nurture and empower all youth ages birth through 13 years by inspiring a love of reading; sparking curiosity and joy of discovery; and providing access to information, knowledge, and ideas. We support our children through creative play, storytelling, and crafts.

We offer a variety of programs for all ages throughout the month. We hope you join us for fun at YOUR library!

Weekly on Wednesdays 10:30am - 11:30am & 3:30m - 4:30pm

Story Time

Kids! Join us for Story Time at the Library! We'll have fun listening to stories, doing crafts, and activities, and enjoying a yummy snack, too!

4th Saturday                                          2pm - 3pm

Lego Club - NEW DAY!

*"Everything is Awesome!" when you're having fun at Lego Club! Join us for building challenges, games, and free play! All Legos are supplied and all ages are invited to join the fun! We'll have Duplo Legos for the younger kids to play with, too!

Weekly on Fridays 4:30pm - 7:30pm

Game On! @ the Library

All ages are invited to join us to get their "Game on!" with a variety of card, video, and board games! Come play Pokemon, Magic, Roblox, Candyland, and more! Click for more details.

**Note - Ages 13 years old and younger, MUST be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian or responsible childcare provider aged 19 years old or older.

Monthly 1st Saturday 2pm - 3pm

Tween Art Club

Tweens, ages 9-13! Join us in the Bay Meeting Room for a fun art club to paint, draw, and be creative with friends!

2nd Saturday                                  2pm - 3pm

Science Squad Saturday

Kids! Join Ms. Stephanie for science fun at the Library! Conduct experiments and discover the different sciences from astronomy to zoology!

AVL provides ad-free, safe, and reliable information from databases for all Alabama residents 24/7 free of charge. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research.

LearningExpress is an online learning platform that offers practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, and e-books covering all grade levels and subjects.
